HALL OF FAME
The inaugural Women’s Hall of Fame 2011 was a huge success with over 280 nominations. Positively, close to 30% of these came from men.
In 2012 we celebrated nominees, ranging from high-profile businessewomen to neighbours caring for disabled children and ailing relatives and women who have changed history in Western Australia
In 2013 we celebrated women’s groups who have made significant contributions to Western Australia’s community. This follows a twelve month research project conducted by Dr Elaine Dowd.
Since that time, an annual public nomination process has been conducted, women have been selected, and announced as part of the years International Women’s Day celebrations.
This page offers you the opportunity to read about the women already acknowledged, with focus on their inspiring achievements.
The dropdown tab allows you to see who was inducted, in which year.
If you are interested to nominate a Western Australian woman, nomination open in September, and close in December each year. Check the Nominations page for more information or follow us on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
