Nominations for 2018 are open until 5:00pm, Wednesday 7th February, 2018.


Selection Process

The Selection Panel comprises senior representatives from the organisations that comprise the International Women's Day Collaboration.

They are:

Australian Local Government Women'€™s Association
BPW Australia (WA)
Country Women'€™s Association (WA)
Graduate Women of WA
ISHAR Women's Health Centre
Soroptimist International
UN Women Australia
Women's and Families Health Services
Zonta International

Selection Criteria

The following criteria is assessed by the Selection Panel:

  1. Excellence in her chosen field of endeavour (15%)
  2. Significant contribution to the WA and Australian community and economy  (15%)
  3. An inspirational role model for young women (15%)
  4. Degree of difficulty of the achievement and related sacrifices made (15%)
  5. Future goals and likely impact (15%)
  6. Voluntary work beyond paid employment (15%) 

In ensuring that the WA Women's Hall of Fame inductees are representative of our diverse state, 10% weighting consideration may be given to:

  1. Age
  2. Remote, regional, city locations
  3. Ethnicity
  4. Field of endeavour
